16th Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad Collaboration Collaboration Sérgio Melo   |   added on Dec 14, 2009 Brazil will host the 16th edition of the Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad (OIAQ), a chemistry competition for secondary-school students. The 16th OIAQ will be held 18–26 September 2011 in Teresina, Brazil. The Ibero-American Chemistry Olympiad is a competition for students under the age of nineteen and not at university.

Born-Oppenheimer approximation suggests that in a molecule the nuclei are essentially stationary compared to the electrons. This concept makes the concept of molecular geometry meaningful. But this fundamental principle has its limitations.
