Systemic Approach In Teaching and Learning Chemistry (SATLC)

Systemic approach is the arrangement and recognition of concepts i.e. how one concept or issue is related and linked with other concepts or issues in a system while teaching and learning chemistry. Systemic approach is a structured way while linear approach is un-structured way for delivering knowledge.

Small Scale Chemistry

This UNESCO project introduces teachers, inspectors, and education officials to the advantage of performing chemistry experiments on a small scale. Introductory workshops to this hands-on chemistry methodology promote putting experimentation back into science education.

Young Ambassadors for Chemistry

The YAC project intends to train teachers to help students communicate the benefits of chemistry. One aim of a YAC event is to popularize and raise public awareness of chemistry by encouraging young students to act as ambassadors for chemistry. If you know of a similar program, I would love to learn about it.

Chemistry on Wheels

A rolling chemistry laboratory toured Germany in 2003. It was one of many events organized during that year, and carried out by many committed men and women in chemistry. Let's plan to do as well in 2011!
