THE II NATIONAL FASTEST DRAWING BENZENE CONTEST Suggestion Suggestion David Yafté Díaz-Sánchez   |   added on Apr 25, 2011 The II National Fastest Drawing Benzene Contest is a competition organized by the national pre-selection of chemistry to identify the most skilful student for drawing benzenes. In this meeting take part the pre-selected to go to the International and Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad.

The fund can be used for advancement of Chemistry in the particular country.

Request for Donations Suggestion Suggestion N.M. Sanjaya Hettigedara   |   added on Apr 21, 2011 Sri Lanka has made a considerable progress in the implementation of IYC 2011 activities. A request is made for assistance from the donors, to continue the rest of the activities.

RECOGNITION OF THE CHEMISTRY PROFESSION Suggestion Suggestion N.M. Sanjaya Hettigedara   |   added on Apr 21, 2011 As highlighted in the IYC 2011 declaration, chemistry and chemical sciences are involved in every aspect of life and in almost every thing that we use. In view of its importance in the national development the profession of Chemistry and the professional chemist should be given due recognition by the Governments.
