TV channel for chemistry in our life

To have a TV channel that is broadcasting information about chemistry in our life, experiments, latest research in chemistry and laboratory techniques

I would like very much to see a TV channel that is dedicated for chemistry. I suggest that the main theme for this channel would be like the theme for the IYC "Chemistry in our life".

I hope to see this channel broadcasting all day information about chemistry that is related to our everyday life; like "chemicals pros & cons", kitchen experiments, hands on activities that can be done at home, and so many ideas that can be applied.

Most important of all, as a young researcher I would be so happy to see this channel inviting the senior researchers and scientists to demonstrate special laboratory techniques and the latest technology in chemical research live on TV, as for example cooking channels that demonstrates the special cooking techniques (I think chemistry will be even more interesting).

I hope to see in the near future a "Discovery Chemistry" channel that fulfills all my and many other chemists dreams.

Topic: experiments, history of chemistry, competition, exhibition, environment, chemistry olympiad Audience: general public, students, secondary schools, teachers, scientists, high schools, school children, educators, professional chemists, tertiary education, primary schools, iyc enthusiasts, international, researchers, global, decision makers, regional, post secondary students

Hope so!!

This will be a good idea to teach public how chemistry is important in our life and to help young chemists and reaserchers in their academic and scientific future!!
