Chemistry Information and Challenges in 21stIdea by Mihai Putz | added on Dec 08, 2009 01:09PM Collaboration
Since I am Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Chemical Modeling at NOVA Science Publishers, New York, USA, I intend to edit an international-interdisciplinary research book celebrating the Chemistry achievements at the down of 21st on IYC2011!
While many fields of our current life and technology make use of the involvement of Chemistry, even in a subtle way as quantum-, mathematical-, physical-, nano-, bio-, eco-, or exo- chemistry, the Chemistry itself drives almost all Nature cycles through the atomic and molecular structure and reactivity universal principles. With the aim presenting an interdisciplinary-internationally picture of Chemical Information embedded in various micro- and macro- systems the intended edited book CHEMISTRY INFORMATION AND CHALLENGES IN 21ST likes to systematically present how fertile field of research and knowledge the Chemistry adds in the humankind present and future endeavors. The book will contain reviews and studies from the great minds and creators in the Chemistry and related fields, both at fundamental and applicative levels, from five continents (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa), by men and women with proven excellence in international research production, while it is addressed to the wide audience of Universities, Research Institutes and Chemical Professional Organizations. The book is planned to contain at least 10 Chapters and over 300 pages and is to be published in 2011, while presented at various International Book Fairs, especially that held in October 2011 at Frankfurt.
Currently, the project is in the stage of First Calling and Registrations with tentative Title, Authors and Abstract and it will continue until March 2010; then the submissions will be received until September 2010; the Book will be closed and transferred to Publisher (intended to be NOVA Science Publishers, New York, USA) in October-November 2010 so that the Publication of the Book to be possible in the first half of 2011 – International Year of Chemistry! No publication fee is envisaged for authors or their institutions, while the first author will receive one copy of the book or the electronic reprint of the contribution chapter.
There will be an honor for the Editor, Publisher and Authors this international edited project being included or recognized as a piece of the World Wide Homage the Chemistry celebrates through its 2011 International Year!
