the proposed event will combine an exhibition and laboratory work activities in close interactions with researchers and teachers.

Chemistry has been always developing close links with industry. These relations led to the design of products and materials for everyday life. In addition, progresses in chemical science allow modifying the current industrial processes as well as designing new processes contributing to a sustainable industry. This event aims at illustrating these aspects by showing how laboratory devices are applied at the industrial scale and by explaining how end use properties can be obtained by a convenient design of chemical structures and formulations. To that goal, the proposed event will combine an exhibition and laboratory work activities in close interactions with researchers and teachers. These activities will take place in Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques, Nancy, France as well as in Nancy – University

Topic: workshops, exhibition Audience: general public, school children, secondary schools, high schools, students, scientists
