Brazil will host the 16th edition of the Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad (OIAQ), a chemistry competition for secondary-school students. The 16th OIAQ will be held 18–26 September 2011 in Teresina, Brazil. The Ibero-American Chemistry Olympiad is a competition for students under the age of nineteen and not at university.

Brazil will host the 16th edition of the Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad (OIAQ), a chemistry competition for secondary-school students. Teams from a 16 countries will compete at the 16th OIAQ, which will be held 18–26 September 2011 in Teresina, Brazil. The Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad is a competition for students under the age of nineteen and not at university. The Federal University of Piaui (UFPI) and the Brazilian Chemical Association (ABQ) are responsible for planning, organizing and implementation of the activities.
