La Ruta del Sal
An adventure to the Salt Flat of the Bolivian Andes that will engage students and teachers alike
This May, four Youth Ambassadors will be joining an impossible2Possible (i2P) expedition team to the South Western Corner of Bolivia.
Following in the footsteps of successful expeditions to Baffin Island, the Sahara Desert, and the Amazon Basin, the i2P expedition team will visit the region of Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, at the crest of the Bolivian Andes.
i2P’s vision is to use adventure to cultivate a generation of leaders, whose direct experiences and education will prepare them to lead social and environmental action all across the world. To achieve this, i2P utilizes a combination of world-class expeditions, youth expeditions, leadership training and fully interactive web based educational resource material. All i2P expeditions make use of television, film, and the internet to broadcast these messages about human and environmental sustainability and to raise awareness for our youth programs.
