Pacifichem 2010 will be the 6th in the series of successful co-sponsored scientific conferences of the Pacific Basin Chemical Societies. A IYC 2011 pre-launch publicity event will be held to highlight the coming celebratory year and promote in that context collaborations among chemists of the Pacific Rim countries.
Founded in 1984, these conferences have been held in Honolulu, Hawaii, around every five years. The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies has been established to disseminate recent research results in the chemical sciences among chemists of the Pacific Rim countries, thereby fostering industrial development, improving local and global environments and the material well-being of their peoples. Pacifichem 2010’s goal is to promote collaborations among Pacific Basin chemical scientists that improve the quality of life throughout the world.
A IYC 2011 pre-launch publicity event will be held to simply highlight the coming celebratory year. Pacifichem will provide an excellent opportunity to promote the year celebrations especially in the Pacific region.
