The Saudi Chemical Society will launch the International Year of Chemistry events with an opening ceremony at King Saud University on 22 May 2011. The ceremony will include opening remarks about the IYC, speaches and short lectures on "chemistry in our life", and some experiments and demonestrations for the students of the university and the guests.
