Shirley Corriher, world-renowned food expert and the winner of the 2013 ACS Grady-Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry to the Public, will speak on how food changes the way wine tastes. Ms. Corriher also served as a consultant to the late Julia Child. Diane Slater of Cape Cod Package Store will talk about wines grown on Cape Cod. What to expect: an entertaining and interactive exploration of wine complete with amusing anecdotes infused with chemistry know-how and some light snacks ~ cheese and crackers.
