A healthy, wealthy, sustainable world Tim Reynolds   |   added on Sep 13, 2011    |    Belgium Dr. John Emsley talks about his latest book – ‘A Healthy, Wealthy, Sustainable World’ in Brussels on 19 September. The book was specifically written for International Year of Chemistry 2011 and describes the importance of chemistry in everyday life and the benefits that chemical science currently brings to society.

National Chemistry Week Mary Moore   |   added on Sep 07, 2011    |    United States On October 25 and 26, Eastman and the Northeast Tennessee Section of the American Chemical Society will host the 21st annual award winning “Celebration of Chemistry for 4th Graders.” Over 27,000 children have participated in this event since its inception in 1991.

Devanandan Memorial Oration and Launching of the new IChemC Website N.M. Sanjaya Hettigedara   |   added on Aug 18, 2011    |    Sri Lanka Dr. Devanandan was a world renowned scientist that Sri Lanka has ever produced. The event is held on the 9th of September 2011 at the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (IChem C) Adamantane House, Rajagiriya to honour this great scientist of Sri Lanka.
