In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

I Youth International Congress of Chemistry Jorge Ruiz-Davila | added on Oct 18, 2010 | Peru We at the Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo will celebrate the 2011 International Year of Chemistry by organizing the Chemistry World Youth Congress.
Dr O'Too City of Chemistry Iris Caris | added on Oct 14, 2010 | Netherlands Dr O'Too is a chemistry game designed for 2011 IYC. The game will be launched on facebook in November 2010 and can be played on http://apps.facebook.com/dr_otoo . On www.drotoo.nl Dutch schools can join our competition. The best may compete in the Dr O'Too Battle at the Dutch Chemistry Day the 21th of May 2011.

KAPNAYAN 2011: Chemistry Quiz Show Dexter Necor | added on Oct 12, 2010 | Philippines KAPNAYAN 2011 is the local name for Chemistry in the Philippines. The KAPNAYAN Quiz Show will showcase high school students in the whole region. This event promotes awareness and appreciation in chemistry leading them actively participation in chemistry.

Undergraduate Organic Competition Bilal Kaafarani | added on Sep 27, 2010 | Lebanon An Undergraduate Organic Competition is scheduled on Feb 7, 2011 to celebrate IYC 2011. The competition is open to ALL students who completed Organic I and Organic II courses. Teams of two students will be competing using Clickers with the "Fastest Responders" tool. The session will be videotaped and will be posted on Youtube.

A Poster Competition for Kenyan Students Shem O.
