An event for local schools and members of the public on what has chemistry done for me. Hands-on chemistry along with exposure to a number of chemical industries, universities, SCI, RSC, and invited speakers such as the Nobel Laureate Sir Harry Kroto will complement the programme.

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) publishes Chemistry World and Education in Chemistry in its magazine portfolio. Through IYC 2011 branded items, the publications will promote IYC 2011 and its mission statement to celebrate the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well-being of humankind.
