Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Young Scientists Essay Contest - Responsible Science

Write an 800 word original essay by 1 November on responsible conduct in the lofe sciences, the importance of safety and security as well as the role for internaitonal collaboration. Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Win a trip to Geneva to present your work at the BWC Seventh Review Conference and a glass microbe!
Colour Chromatography

Engaging young minds to discover science in every day- identifying which black felt tiip pen gives which signature chromatogram, which paper allows teh colours to move fastest. Also, making patterns with by "un-mixing" colours the reverse of activities when painting ( younger kids). In German.

The International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE 2011) is the 13th biannual conference organized by the Division of Chemistry and the Environment (DCE) of the European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS). It will be held from 11 to 15 September 2011 at ETH in Zurich, Switzerland.
