Analytical Chemistry for Space Exploration Kensei  Kobayashi   |   added on Jan 09, 2011    |    Japan Public symposium titled “Analytical Chemistry for Space Exploration” is held in the 60th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Analytical Chemistry to introduce roles of analytical chemistry in missions to search for the origin of the solar system.

The 26th Workshop on Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors Tomoya  Yamauchi   |   added on Jan 05, 2011    |    Japan It provides the opportunity to exchange the recent achievements on the fundamentals and applications of Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors, including space radiations and hadron therapy. A lecture on Madam Curie will be also made for general publics.

2011 GSC Workshop: “Chemistry for a Sustainable Society” Tadashi Arai   |   added on Jan 04, 2011    |    Japan The scope of this workshop is to present the recent achievements of NEDO’s Development of Fundamental Technologies for Green and Sustainable Chemical Processes project and to review industry and academic efforts for green sustainable chemistry in Japan and overseas.

Networking Breakfast - Tokyo, Japan Masako Sasaki   |   added on Dec 22, 2010    |    Japan Gender Equality Committee of CSJ will be held to celebrate IYC. The key aim is to discuss the promotion and networking of young scientists with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Marie Curie’s Novel Price in chemistry.
