ISTA Senior Science Quiz 2011 Mary Mullaghy   |   added on Jun 30, 2011    |    Ireland The Regional Finals of the ISTA Senior Science Quiz will be held nationally on Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm and the Final which is sponsored by PharmaChemical Ireland & Royal Society of Chemistry will be held in Trinity College on Saturday 26th November with Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin as quizmaster.

The Boyle-Higgins Award of the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland: "A Journey through Organic Chemistry" by Prof. Frank Hegarty Brian Murray   |   added on Jan 25, 2011    |    Ireland The Boyle-Higgins Award and Medal of the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland goes to Prof. Frank Hegarty of University College Dublin (UCD). His Award Lecture, "A Journey through Organic Chemistry", will be given in UCD Thursday 27 Jan (School of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, 5 pm) to coincide with the Paris launch of IYC.
