Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Chemistry IYC Quiz for Secondary School Students

Selected secondary schools in Kingston and St . Andrew will be invited to participate in a one day quiz competition at the Chemistry Department at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.

The International Year of Chemistry 2011 was celebrated on a grand scale by the Zonal Education Department of Vadamaradchy on 24 June 2011 at J/Methodist Girls School, Point Pedro. Vadamaradchy Education Zone was the first to organize IYC -2011 celebrations in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka.
