Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Networking Breakfast - Melbourne, Australia Michelle Groarke   |   added on Dec 21, 2010    |    Australia We hosted a breakfast to celebrate and promote women women in chemistry on January 18th from 7 am in the CSIRO Ian Wark laboratory, Bayview Ave, Clayton, Victoria. Women at all stages in their career attended.

PACIA Interface 2011 - International Year of Chemistry John Osborn   |   added on Dec 14, 2010    |    Australia The Australian Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association (PACIA) Interface 2011 is a high level program held at Parliament House Canberra in March for CEO's and senior managers from the chemicals and plastics industry in Australia. The theme in 2011 will be in support of the International Year of Chemistry 2011 initiative.

ReferEEIng QLD chemistry Daniel Bischa   |   added on Nov 20, 2010    |    Australia A project to showcase Queensland (QLD) senior chemistry students' Extended Experimental Investigations (EEI's) in a refereed online journal. Teachers of chemistry in QLD will be able to use the journal as an exemplar to show their class exceptional EEI reports. High school students will develop links with practicing chemists.
