Chemistry in All Dimensions Symposium

"Chemistry in All Dimensions" Symposium, 19-22 October 2011, will gather people from all areas and from all ages. In four days, in addition to conferences, discussion sessions, workshops and poster presentations, chemistry project competitions, exhibitions and enjoyable experiment demonstrations will take place.

Chemistry in All Dimensions Symposium will be the biggest event organized in Turkey by chemistry student organizations of the Bilkent, METU and Hacettepe Universities. Event will take place in those universities between October, 19-22 (it will end  just before the Mol Day).

With this symposium we want to gather people of all ages in the environment of all areas of chemistry. In four-day-long event, in addition to conferences, discussion sessions, workshops and poster presentations, chemistry project competitions among high schools, exhibitions of the periodic table and enjoyable experiment demonstrations will take place. At the end of each day, people will enjoy the chemistry with documentaries/short films or mini-concerts.

Until the day event starts, chemistry students of Bilkent, METU and Hacettepe Universities, will organize several pre-events (periodicART Global Experiments and etc.) for secondary school and high school students to show how enjoyable chemistry can be.
