The 6th International Symposium on Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis “RENACOM2011" which will take place on April 29-30, 2011 to the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Errachidia (Southeast of Morocco), aims to stimulate interactions between researchers in the field of organometallic chemistry.

In December 2008, United Nations proclaimed 2011 International Year of the Chemistry. For that purpose, the chemists, so academic as industrial, mobilize to celebrate this event. The 6th International Symposium on Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis “RENACOM2011" which will take place on April 29-30, 2011 at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Errachidia (Southeast of Morocco), will give a particular boost, because this meeting gathers periodically, skills of various countries, livening up series of plenary conferences, oral and poster communications.

This symposium is organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology (University Moulay Ismail, Meknes) in partnership with the Faculty of Sciences Dhar El Mahraz (Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez).

Topics:

The symposium aims to stimulate interactions between researchers in the field of organometallic chemistry, to present the development reached in this areas.

The session topics will reflect this general theme emphasis on the following aspects:

  • Main group organometallic chemistry
  • Coordination chemistry
  • Transition metal organometallic chemistry
  • Transition metal catalysed organic syntheses
  • Organometallic electrochemistry
  • Analytical and computational approaches fitting to the aspects above
  • Application in inorganic biochemistry

·         Biological and pharmaco-chemical applications.

  • Application in environmental chemistry and related subjects.
