An afternoon networking event in Melbourne, Australia, on Tuesday 8 March 2011 to celebrate the role of women in the chemical sciences; commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Marie Curie's Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Building on the positive response to the 'Women in Chemistry' breakfast held in January, a subsequent ‘Women in Chemistry’ networking event, to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of Marie Curie’s Nobel Prize, will be held on International Women’s Day, Tuesday 8 March 2011. The event will be sponsored by Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI).
Women in Chemistry ‘high tea’ celebration shall run from 3.00–4.30pm on Tuesday 8 March 2011 at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick city offices; Level 23, 367 Collins Street, Melbourne, Australia. The cost will be AUD $5.00 per head. The formal program will run for 30 minutes with an hour or so available for networking. Tea, coffee, refreshments and finger food shall be provided.
