The Spring Conference is a major New Jersey industry event that provides chemistry companies and affiliated groups an opportunity to network, learn about the latest developments affecting their business, get updates on legislative and regulatory issues, participate in seminars directly related to their businesses.

The leading annual conference for the business of chemistry in New Jersey will take place on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Seaview Resort in Galloway Township, NJ.

The United Nations has proclaimed 2011 the International Year of Chemistry.   The International Year of Chemistry 2011 (IYC 2011) is a worldwide celebration of the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well-being of humankind.  This year’s conference theme is borrowed from the IYC 2011 unifying theme: Celebrate Chemistry – our life, our future.

The Chemistry Council of New Jersey is pleased to join the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry in recognizing 2011 as the International Year of Chemistry at the Annual Spring Conference.

The Spring Conference, currently in its 27th year, is a major New Jersey industry event that provides attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors the opportunity to interact in an intimate setting with executives from leading companies and promote your products and services.  Attendees learn about the latest developments affecting their business, get updates on legislative and regulatory issues, participate in seminars directly related to their businesses and interact with elected officials.  It is also an opportunity to visit with exhibitors to learn about new products and services available from various companies.

During this event, student winners of the CCNJ Annual Poster/Essay Contest will be recognized as a way to encourage interest of young people in chemistry.
