the Workshop on Small Scale Chemistry has been held and hand-on practicing for High School Teachers in Thailand by Distance Learning via Satelite, during Jan 25-27 and Feb 8-9, 2012

In order to celebrate the International Year of Chemistry 2011 (IYC2011), the Workshop on Small Scale Chemistry has been held during January 25-27 and February 8-9 2012 at the Meeting room 4 (8th floor), The Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT) Bangkok and at the meeting room, Kanchanapisek building, Klaikangwon School, Hua Hin, Prachuap khirikhan, Thailand. The activities will be Distance Learning via Satellite by DLTV channel 14 and through True Vision (DSTV channel 199 and และ cable TV (CATV) channel 60.

The objective of this workshop is to provide opportunities to the High School teachers to gain more knowledge and experiences in small scale chemistry experiments and new techniques in Science teaching. The workshop has been organized by the Distance Learning Foundation (DLF), Ministry of Education, the Chemical Society of Thailand under the Patronage of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, the Department of Chemical Engineering, Mexican Center for Green Chemistry and Microscale Chemistry, Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico and supported by IRPC, Ltd., PTT, Ltd., Bangkok Bank, Ltd. and Merck Company.
