Sustaining the Blue Planet: Global Water Education Conference

The goal of the conference is to increase the knowledge and capacity of conference participants to effectively reach children and youth through education that leads to action in schools, communities and corporations.

The Project WET Foundation—publisher of the most complete water resources education materials available and leader in the field of water education in the United States and around the world—is inviting everyone with an interest in our most precious natural resource to join us in beautiful Bozeman, Montana for Sustaining the Blue Planet.

The first conference to focus exclusively on water education and its role in solving the world's pressing water issues, Sustaining the Blue Planet will offer five conference strands, a full array of speakers, the much-anticipated launch of Project WET's Curriculum & Activity Guide 2.0, pre- and post-conference workshops, pre-conference field trips and dedicated networking opportunities.

When: Tuesday September 13, 2011 -to- Friday September 16, 2011

Where: Holiday Inn, 5 E. Baxter Ln., Bozeman, MT 59715 USA

 

The conference team is seeking educators, policymakers, businesses, municipalities, program designers, implementers, practitioners and all others interested in water education for presentations addressing one of the five conference strands:

 

* Innovations in Water Education
* Successful Approaches to WASH Education
* Technology & Water Education
* Encouraging Water Education in Corporate Sustainability
* Education Solutions for Priority Water Topics

The Call for Presentations includes additional information about each of the strands as well as the form you will need to submit your presentation.
