Blogging Famous Chemists from the Smithsonian Institution's Collections

From January through March 2011, the Smithsonian Institution Archives will be blogging about images of chemists (both famous and relatively unknown) found in our collections, and posting new images of women scientists to the Flickr Commons.

Cooinciding with the launch of IYC 2011 at the end of January, and extending through March, the Smithsonian Institution Archives will be blogging occasionally about images of chemists (both famous and relatively unknown) found in our collections. Interested readers should visit the blog, THE BIGGER PICTURE: Visual Archives and the Smithsonian, or subscribe to the blog's RSS feed.

Included are many portraits of women scientists/chemists who will be added to the Smithsonian Flickr Commons' "Women in Science" set, and featured on the blog during Women's History Month in March 2011.
