Taste of Chemistry - This exhibition at an Art Festival uses food and molecular gastronomy and molecular cuisine techiniques to make science not just palatable but tasty! Exhibits and Demos will focus on novel foods and how knowledge of the food molecules can help create them.
The Taste of Chemistry is an exhibition that uses the food context to explain chemistry through novel molecular cuisine or molecular gastronomy techniques. The content was delevoped as part of a college level class, "The Kitchen Chemistry Sessions" at Carnegie Mellon University that is being used to reach out to the public (link: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette).
Taste of Chemistry is a feature of the Geek Art/Green Innovators Festival and will be open from 6pm - 9pm on Friday, April 1 at A301 GlassLofts, 5491, Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh
