Papers are welcomed for a Special Issue in Chemistry Central Journal to cover "Advances in Peptide Chemistry and Medicinal Application". As part of the International Year of Chemistry, we would like to highlight some of the important contributions that peptide chemistry has made to the field of medicine.

Papers are welcomed for a Special Issue in Chemistry Central Journal to cover "Advances in Peptide Chemistry and Medicinal Application".

As part of the International Year of Chemistry, we would like to highlight some of the important contributions that peptide chemistry has made to the field of medicine in a Special Issue.

We are interested in Reviews, Commentaries and Research papers covering all areas of peptide chemistry that have implications for medicine, ranging from peptide synthesis and chemical ligation, through to medicinal applications like vaccines and tissue engineering.

If you are interested in submitting a paper to this issue then we would welcome your contribution.

The editors of this special issue are:
Yasuhiro Nishiyama, University of Texas-Houston Medical School, US
   Gisbert Schneider, ETH Zürich, Switzerland
   Paul Wrede, Charite-Universitätsmedizin, Germany

You can submit your work to this Special Issue until the end of August 2011 (please mention in your covering letter that your paper is for this Special Issue).

Topic: medicinal chemistry, biological chemistry Audience: research scientists
