Lecture by eminent scientists on understanding of Ethics in Science
In appreciation of discovery of Raman Effect by C V Raman, he was awarded NOBLE PRIZE. Since then, India celebrates its National Science Day on the 28th of February.. Its very essential to maintain Ethics in Science because as the science has progressed , its misuse has also increased by leaps and bounds. To make students, research scholars as well as general public aware to avoid misuse of science..

National Science day celebrated by Dept. of Chemistry, St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala, India
National Science day was celebrated at St. Teresa's college, Kochi,Kerala. Principal Sr. Christabelle inagurated he seminar and Prof. S. Sivadas gave a talk on "Chemistry for Today". A quiz competition and poster competition on " Chemistry in our lives" was also conducted on the same day. Students from nearby colleges and schools attended the function.
