We make 12 fun, educational and action-packed videos, one for each month of IYC 2011, to show how chemistry plays a role in our daily lives - and in our future!
The Chemistry Calendar consists of 12 fun, educational and action-packed videos showing how chemistry plays a role in everyday life - and in our future! Anyone can enjoy these videos - school students and their teachers and parents, as well as chemists and the general public.
The videos can be embedded on other websites, blogs etc and are available free of charge on:

A new video is released in the beginnig of each month. The topics covered in the videos follow the monthly themes set up by the Swedish chemical society. In conjunction with each video, we make teaching material, which can be downloaded on Molecular Frontiers' website for young people, MoleClues:

The Chemistry Calendar is a joint project between Molecular Frontiers, Chalmers University of Technology, University of Gothenburg and Universeum. We work together with film company Untamed Science to launch a video per month during the International Year of Chemistry 2011.
The videos are also available in Swedish.
