Good Chemical Safety and Security practices in universities, laboratories and industry are critical to improving the reputation of the chemical profession and the image of chemistry with the public.  As part of the Chemical Security Engagement Program, we hold trainings and workshops designed to share best practices in chemical safety and security in many countries in the developing world. We cooperate with professional Chemistry Societies at the international, regional and national levels.  In particular, we hold Chemical Safety and Security Officer trainings, which provide information and materials to chemistry professors and laboratory leaders in various countries that will enable them to conduct follow-on trainings in chemical safety and security in their own institutions.

Topic: trainings, chemical security, training Audience: professors, educational institutions, laboratory managers, professional chemists, educators, industrial chemists
