An exhibition hosted by students at the University of St Andrews celebrating the 200th anniversary of the teaching of chemistry at the university. The Gateway Galleries will feature a display of notable chemists, amazing discoveries and historic apparatus.

The University of St Andrews has been teaching chemistry for two centuries, during this time it has been host to numerous eminent chemical scholars (including two Nobel Prize winners), been the backdrop to some field revolutionising discoveries, contributed to two war effort and played a large part in the development of photography in Scotland.  Our exhibition will celebrate these fantastic achievements through an interesting and comprehensive display, coupled with some amazing historic apparatus.  Help us to celebrate the IYC 2011 in St Andrews by coming along!
