Eunice Lawton (Kroto Research Institute), Julie Hyde and Andrew Ross (Chemistry Department) are organising the event for the local section of the Royal Society of Chemistry in conjunction the Chemistry Department, and the Kroto Research Institute at the University of Sheffield to conincide with a number events that are happening globally on Tuesday.

We will be holding a breakfast meeting and inviting a wide range of people to attend and encourage them to share their story of why they became interested in chemistry and the way in which it has impacted on their lives.

We will be setting up a webpages to share their stories so that others that cannot attend can participate as well and this can be used to inspire young people to consider becoming involved in chemistry.

We will also have flipcamcorders available to make short recordings of those that are interested.
