Science Festival 2011

10-13 November 2011

From 10 to 13 November 2011, the National Museum of Natural History and the National Research Fund will hold the 8th edition of the Science Festival, one of the biggest science events in Luxembourg.

Testing and understanding technology, mathematics, and the natural sciences; this is the programme for children, young people, but also for adults. Curiosity and the thirst for knowledge are generated when faced with the unexpected. Through hands-on experiments, visitors become confident; the natural sciences and technology unveil their secrets.

The whole family is invited to make new discoveries with all their senses. All scientists-to-be, small or big, will observe astonishing phenomena at every experimentation stand, from the influence of magnets to optical illusions. During the Science Festival, there will be many occasions to test, guess and be astonished.

An event for curious people from 1 to 100 years old!

Topic: science fair Audience: general public, educators, decision makers, professional chemists
