Lebanese Chemistry Olympiade

On April 2, 2011, the Lebanese Chemistry Olympiad in the discipline Acid-Base Titrations will be held celebrating IYC2011. Up to 20 high school students can participate and will be judged based on accuracy, precision, and technique. The results will be celebrated at the Annual Science and Arts Fair.

On April 2, 2011, the Lebanese Chemistry Olympiad in the discipline Acid-Base Titrations will be held celebrating IYC2011.

In this competition, up to 20 high school students from high schools across Lebanon will be invited to the Lebanese American University campus (LAU) to compete in a hands-on competition in Acid-Base Titration. The participants will carry out three titrations in the laboratories of LAU and will be judged on accuracy, precision, and technique. A general procedure is provided to all interested high schools thus providing the participants the chance to prepare for the competition.

The results will be celebrated at the Annual Science and Arts Fair held on May 5 and 6, 2011 on the LAU campus.
