Women Sharing a Chemical Moment in Time. 18 Jan, 2011, Humphrey Perkins High School, Leicestershire, UK

We are celebrating the work of Marie Curie through this Networking Breakfast event at Humphrey Perkins High School, Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK.  We have invited students from our school and a partner school,  Governors and  female chemists from local universities and industry to a delicious buffet breakfast, over which the participants will be able to share their experiences as chemists.  The event will begin with a short introduction about the International Year of Chemistry using the short video clip by Dr Richard Pike from the RSC.  We hope to link up with other similar events in the UK through 'Skype' and or other social media.  

The event will be recorded and video clips will be posted on the school website for students and parents to view.  If anyone wishes to link up with us on 18th Jan, 2011 from 9am to 11 am, please contact Ms Kaisra Khan at k.khan@humphreyperkins.leics.sch.uk
