Intercollegiate Seminar Competition

Seminar on current and emerging trends of chemistry for the welfare of society and also to increase the awareness about chemistry in students

Under the unifying theme “Chemistry—our life, our future,” IYC 2011 will offer a range of interactive, entertaining, and educational activities for all ages. The Year of Chemistry is intended to reach across the globe, with opportunities for student participation at the local, regional, and national level. Keeping this view in mind, we are organizing intercollegiate seminar competition. Objective: - 1] Intercollegiate Communication 2] Promotion of Chemistry 3] Interaction with students 4] Interaction with experts 5] To popularize Chemistry as a subject 6] Helping students to prepare for examinations 7] Helping everyone to update their knowledge

No. of Expected Participants- Approx.30 for UG and approx. 30 for PG.


Date:                           6th January 2011 for UG and PG


Prizes                          :Ist  Prize- Cash of  Rs. 1000/-( For UG and PG level each)

                                     IInd Prize- Cash of Rs. 750/-(For UG and PG level each)

                                     IIIrd Prize- Cash of Rs. 500/-(For UG and PG level each)

Time:06 minutes for presentation+ 02 minutes for discussions
