Election of the Young Analytical Chemists of the Year

This project is intended to identify the two best professional bachelors graduating in Analytical Chemistry at the Belgian Technical Colleges.

The Young Analytical Chemist award is aimed at recognizing the merits of Professional Bachelors majoring in Analytical Chemistry at Belgian Technical Colleges in Academic Year 2010-2011.

Our aim is to stimulate interest for Analytical Chemistry with young students, to promote their skilles and professionalism among the laboratory managers.

There will be five finalists each for the two national languages of Belgium. During a public session organized at the end of 2011, these finalists will be given the opportunity to present their experience, discuss their interest in Analytical Chemistry and present their views for their career perspectives as young chemists. A jury will elect the two Young Analytical Chemists of the Year.

We hope that this intiative will stimulate interest in Analytical Chemistry and serve as a platform to link young gaduates to potential employers.
