We are one with the nature. We are made up of same elements as the universe. By simple fun experiments we can create interest in common man about Chemistry & can remove their superstitions ,that unholy Godman are exploiting.

CREATE FIRE BY MAGIC

MATERIAL REQUIRED      : Dry pieces of paper, a metal plate (20 cm  diameter), potassium Permanganate powder, glycerine

PREPARATION               :           1. Arrange some pieces of paper on a metal plate.

                                          2. Put a piece of paper with some potassium permanganate

                                                                Powder in the centre.

PERFORMANCE     1. Acting as if you are pouring ‘ghee’ , put two or three drops of glycerine Over the potassium permanganate powder.

2. Glycerine reacts with potassium permanganate.  First smoke comes

Out and then the pieces of paper start burning with flame.

EXPLANATION : Sufficient heat is evolved in the reaction between potassium

Permanganate and glycerine.  This heat burns the paper pieces.

PRECAUTIONS                    :           1. Use fine grains of potassium permanganate.

                                                            2. Use glycerine in appropriate quantity (1-2 tea spoonfuls).

Many such experiments will be performed.

I believe that Science is the study of Nature.  Science has to be learnt, it cannot be taught.  Teachers can serve only as guides and help students to learn science on their own.  And what is most important, science can be learnt not through textbooks, but by directly observing nature, asking questions and trying experiments with their own hands.

To create interest among the masses , I wish to share the following points :-

(i)                Origin of universe – Big bang theory & Religious beleifs.

(ii)              Relation between Science & Nature.

How laws of nature can be learnt through Science , so that human beings can make this world a better place to live with greater undersatnding .

Scientists too have been looking towards God and religion in this state of darkness .Religion adds another dimension i.e., the sixth sense. This is also called perception or intuition. The real research is in researching the cause and the effect. The tragedy is that the scientists are caught in observing the mirage, the maya the creation, and not its Creator. Their observations are of the effect and not the cause; of the action and not the producer. The God is the cause and the maya is the effect. The subject is thus forgotten and the activity is observed. These observations are of transitory things and not of permanent nature. The observed are all changeable. That is why the principles created by science keep on changing and do not stand for long.
