A two day workshop on Microscale Techniques in Experimental Chemistry will be organised on December 16-17,2011 at AN College, Patna, Bihar, India for the benefit of Chemistry teachers of Patna based colleges. The focus will be on promotion of Green Chemistry practices and safety in the laboratory
A Workshop on Microscale Techniques in Experimental Chemistry has being organised by A. N. College, Patna, Bihar,India on December 16-17,2011 for Chemistry teachers of Patna based colleges. The two day workshop will focus on promotion of Green Chemistry practices,eco-friendly chemical processes and safety in the laboratory.
Experts from prestigious academic and research institutions will serve as resourse persons and conduct the theory and experimental sessions.Green Chemistry will be introduced by elaborating the 12 principles as enunciated by Paul Anastas and John Warner. The participants will get valuable hands on experience in Microscale Chemistry.
A special effort will be made to motivate young teachers to participate in the workshop.The workshop is probably the first of its kind to be organised in Bihar State.The workshop is a part of IYC 2011 celebrations in India
