Erudite Escapade - Science and Art Exhibition

A two day Science and Art exhibition “ERUDITE ESCAPADE” (an exciting journey to acquire knowledge) was held on 10.12.11 and 12.12.11 as a part of IYC celebration.

A two day Science and Art exhibition “ERUDITE ESCAPADE” (an exciting journey to acquire  knowledge)  was held on 10.12.11 and 12.12.11 as a part of  IYC  celebrations. The inagural function was held on 10.12.11 in the presence of Shri Sarat Mishra

.More than 400 students participated displaying different projects and models related  to scientific fields.Their projects were evaluated by an expert panel of judges --- B. Panigrahi(PGT chem..K.V) ,Sanjaya  ku. Jena ( PGT Bio- DAV pokhariput,Bhubaneswar),Sanjeeb ku. Sahoo ( PGT Chem- DAV Pokhariput),Pradeep Ku. Sahu(PGT phy – DAV Cspur), Nilamani Muduli(Teacher Art& craft,DAV Cspur ).

 

The students were divided into senior group ( CLASSES VIII, IX,X,XI)  and junior group( CLASSES III,IV,V,VI,VII) . On 12.12.11 , students from other schools, visited the exhibition . A show on scientific experiments “Science : magic and miracle” was organized by Mr. Nikunja Bihari Sahu,Education officer,Regional science Center, BBSR, in the forenoon.

 

In the afternoon the valedictory ceremony was celebrated in the presence of chief guest  Dr. Promod Kumar Mohapatra, Executive Editor , “The Samaja” and Mrs.Anusaya Mishra , Editor “Vigyan Bharati”.

 

Prizes were given to the best projects and also to the “Master chemist”.
