National Chemistry Day

The routine celebrations of National Chemistry Day are being specialised this year for ear-marking the International Year of Chemistry. This year our aim is to reach chemistry and its importance to the lay-man.

National Chemistry Day is celebrated each year with great zeal and enthusiasm. The enthusiasm exaggerates with this whole year being dedicated to Chemistry .There would be a seminar for the post graduate students and teachers in which out-station scientists are delivering their lectures and to inculcate in minds the true sense of chemistry - our life, our future. For students, there are poster competitions, quiz, essay writing and speech competitions on the theme Chemistry - our life, our future. 

This program wants to outreach each and every person in this area and convince them of the gifts of Chemistry.
