An inter school seminar presentation on the topic “GREEN CHEMISTRY”  was held at DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, UNIT – 8 , BHUBANESWAR on 19th Nov 2011. In the seminar the students from 21 schools of  odisha had participated and displayed beautiful and scientific powerpoint presentations on “GREEN CHEMISTRY”. The judges present were Associate Prof. A.Srinivasan ,NISER,INDIA, Retd. Prof. Pranabandhu Tripathy, VANIBIHAR, BBSR, Prof. Ramesh Chandra Parida, OUAT, BBSR. Many new ideas came out  from the students about “GREEN CHEMISTRY”which were highly appreciable and can  be used as potential tools for overcoming various global problems. The best ideas  were awarded by the guest of honours present in the event.

1st prize -- PIYUSH NANDA -- SCB MEDICAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, CUTTACK.

2nd prize -- SWASTI KIRAN   -- DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, ANUGUL.

3rd prize -- ANSUMAN SWAIN -- DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL
