Concept Test in Chemistry

A national level ACT-IYC 2011 Concept Test in Chemistry will be organised on December 17, 2011 by Association of Chemistry Teachers, the registered body of Chemistry educators in India. The test is planned to assess the conceptual understanding of Chemistry among undergraduate students.

Association of Chemistry Teachers, India has organised ACT-IYC 2011 Concept Test in Chemistry at different centres on December 17, 2011 in celebration of IYC 2011.

The test is planned to assess the conceptual understanding of Chemistry among undergraduate students . It will be an objective test with multiple choice questions and will be open to all students studying Chemistry at the undergraduate level.The test aims at generating students' interest in the subject and motivating them to pursue Chemistry as a career.

 Higher secondary school students have the chance to appear for several such tests. It was felt that the undergraduate students have few such opportunities hence the concept test has been perceived.The toppers of the test will be awarded prizes and merit certificates by Association of Chemistry Teachers.
