Celebrate IYC with the University of Central Oklahoma

Presentation by Lauren Redniss, author of "Radioactive: Marie and Pierre Curie - A Tale of Love and Fallout" at the UCO FSI. Redniss will sign copies of her National Book Award - nominated book and art entries from student science and art contest will be on display.

Graphic biographer Lauren Redniss is the author of "Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie - A Tale of Love and Fallout. Her writing and drawing has appeared in numerous publications and the book is a finalist for the 2011 National Book Award in nonfiction. On Thursday, November 3, Redniss will present "Radioactive - Science, Art, and Discovery" at the University of Central Oklahoma Forensic Science Institute auditorium at 4:00 pm, followed by a book signing. Entries in the 2011 student science and art contest will be display.
