This is the first School of Chemistry organized with the aim to present the last achievements in the field of analitical and instrumental chemistry with a special theme of "Chemistry for the Environment". The School is a 4 days of lessons and workshop.
The event is intended for all technicians, young researchers or people working in the field of Analytical Chemistry and Environment (i.e. operators in Chemical Laboratories, workers in the field of waste and environment preservation,...). Also not specialists are invited to partecipate.
The first day is dedicated to an overview of Chemistry: in particular the basics of Physical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. The fundamental issues in a laboratories and how to prepare the samples.
The second day is dedicated to the introduction of statistics and analytical tools to analyse the results and data. Laws and rules will be also introduced.
The third day is dedicated to the Quality Systems and all about Environment problems. Examples and case histories.
The four day is dedicated to spectroscopic techniques and other new analytical tools. There will be a workshop where some of the most representative companies will present their last products.
The fifth day is dedicated to the discussion among partecipants and professors. In the afternoon, all partecipants will be invited to visit the Mostra della Chimica in Rosignano Solvay (LI) and there will be an open Round Table about "Chemistry and the Environment" in the area of Livorno. This will be in important part where to partecipate and to share knowledge with the rest of the Society.
