Materials Chemistry Lab, GC University Lahore, Pakistan will organize “National Workshop on Crystallography”. Crystallography is an important technique used for structural determination of various kinds of molecules.

We would like to organize “Two Days Workshop on Crystallography” in connection with celebration of International Year of Chemistry 2011 at Department of Chemistry, GC University Lahore, Pakistan from 6-7 June 2011.

Crystallography is an important technique used for structural determination of various kinds of molecules. There are very few people are trained in these areas in our country. We are working on the synthesis and applications of nanomaterials and the Department of Chemistry has facility to characterize the materials by using Single Crystal X-Ray Diffractometer.

The workshop will cover basic theory and hands-on experience on Single Crystal X-Ray Diffractrometer facility available in our department.
