IYC Celbration in Dibru College

A daylong celebration of international year of chemistry on 24th September in Dibru college; celebration consists of painting competition, quiz competition and a popular talk.

To celebrate "IYC 2011" ,Dept. of Chemistry of Dibru College,Dibrugarh in collaboration with the IQAC will be going to arrange a daylong celebration on 24th September,2011 in the college campus.Various activities such as Quiz competition, painting competition among the students of schools and colleges are taken on that day. The day will start with the plantation program, with the motive to increase awareness among the youths on the benefit of afforestation. A special talk will also be delivered by Dr. Narayan Upadhyaya,Professor of Neurology,Assam Medical College. The talk will be on the day to day life food chemistry, artificial color and its bad effects on human health.
