Wilson College, Mumbai has organised a seminar on Safety in the Chemistry Laboratory in collaboration with B.A.S.F, Mumbai on August 10,2011 for the benefit of students, teachers and researchers

Wilson College, one of the oldest colleges in India and a constituent college of University of Mumbai(Bombay)has organised a seminar on Safety in the Chemistry Laboratory  on August 10,2011 in collaboration with B.A.S.F.,Mumbai The seminar aims at acquainting young students and researchers with safe practices in the Chemistry laboratory.

                                                  Programme

2.00 to 3.30 pm     Safety in the Chemistry laboratory with case studies---Dr Prabodh Chobe,R & D Center

                              BASF, Mumbai

3.45 to 5.30 pm     'HAZOP' studies for Chemistry laboratories---------------Dr Bhaskar Shetty,Chemicals

                              Division, BASF, Mumbai

 The seminar is  ainmed at  industry-academia synergy-a philosopy which Wilson College has cherished and nurtured since the 1980s.
