Bayer Cropscience has entered a parade float into the Norwich Lord Mayor's street procession being held at 5pm on Sat 9th July 2011, as part of the Lord Mayor's celebrations.  The theme is scientists with a mobile chemistry set, and involves Bayer employees such as chemists, engineers, operators, administrators and managers with their respective families.

Bayer Cropscience believe that this parade is a perfect opportunity to emphasize science as fun with wacky wigs and colourful artwork depicting experiments.  The "walkers" will be wearing brightly coloured element costumes whereas those on the float will be dressed as male and female scientists (ranging from 2 years old).

Our parade float is the perfect way to celebrate the International Year of Chemistry in style.  Vivid carnival colours, hanging molecules and music will ensure that it gives everyone something to think about.

Topic: celebrating chemistry Audience: students, general public, professors, educators, universities, teachers, women chemists, secondary school students, tertiary education, high schools, school children, secondary schools, secondary schools students
